The Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI) is Tata Power's flagship skill development initiative that has trained people in industrial safety, power sector related skills, green energy and other essential employability and entrepreneurship skills. TPSDI was established in 2015 and "dedicated to the nation" as a part of Tata Power's centenary celebrations. Taking forward, Tata Power's initiatives in skill development and employability skills, TPSDI has trained over 400000 people so far and in line with Tata Power's focus on sustainability and green energy, the institute has pivoted to offer more courses and skills training in the same areas.
