Learning Outcomes

  • Successful trainees shall be able to work, under supervision, as a Fitter assisting a Senior Fitter, in addition to:
    • Being familiar with engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical power plant machinery and equipment to operational standards
    • Being proficient using tools to mark, press, cut, grind, plane bore and drill objects
    • Maintaining excellent levels of housekeeping, and
  • Working safely, familiar with the use of PPEs and reporting any near misses & unsafe conditions
